Face Yoga: Jaw & Facial Tension Workshop

Face Yoga: Jaw & Facial Tension Workshop

Are you suffering from jaw tension or headaches? Do you notice your expression lines becoming deeper and more noticeable? Just like the muscles in the body carry tension, our facial muscles also carry tension!

We FEEL tension when we have headaches, jaw tension (TMJD, pain, clenching or clicking in any part of the jaw), or strained and sore eye cavities.

We SEE tension in the form of forehead creases, 11 lines (between the eyebrows),  nasolabial folds (aka smile lines), the corners of the lips turning down into a frown (marionette lines) and indentation above the chin and dimpling throughout.

Here, we'll be combining simple self-massage and acupressure techniques so you can relieve jaw and facial tension while helping to soothe and smooth your face naturally.

If you’re experiencing any of the above symptoms, don't miss this workshop!

Meet Luke Koleszar, Registered Massage Therapist, Thai Massage Practitioner

Luke was born in rural Quebec and raised in rural Prince Edward Island. He began charting a path towards health care and the musical arts in childhood, melding and moulding these two unique proficiencies simultaneously.

His journey into the healing arts began early, by walking on his mom and dad’s back regularly to help ease their aches and pains. Experiencing his gift for healing touch, Luke was encouraged to pursue professional training in Massage Therapy.

Coming to Toronto to attend Massage Therapy Training as a teenager, he graduated in 1997 from Sutherland-Chan Massage Therapy School and Teaching Clinic. Over more than 2 decades of practice, Luke has attended numerous workshops, courses, seminars and learning initiatives. Additionally he has received regular bodywork. All of these experiences, as well as his art as a musician, singer and songwriter, continue to inspire and inform his practice of Massage Therapy.

In addition to his Massage Therapy training, Luke has studied Traditional Thai Massage, CranioSacral Therapy, Shiatsu, Therapeutic Touch, Passive Stretch Massage, Visceral Manipulation, Hot Stone Massage, and Tibetan Accupressure Massage. Luke’s current practice of Thai Massage as a Registered Massage Therapist focuses on balancing bio-mechanics, and he especially enjoys working with and sharing this integration with his patients.

Roll & Release Mobility Workshop - Ankles Away - Feet, Calves & Shins!

In this 75-minute workshop, we will be using balls and blocks to learn how to develop your own personal at-home exercise and joint nutrition program from the knees down. Perfect for those starting up a running routine, looking for ease in walking, working out those stiff feet, or looking for a deeper squat!

Dr. Adrienne takes you through much-kneaded rollouts to help your ankles and calves be at their best. The “second heart” is the lesser-known name for your calves. Your lower legs perform massive “leg work” to enable venous blood to flow back to your “first heart.” We don’t realize how important this part of your body is to circulation and bringing ease to the knees and hips. Take the creak out of your ankles & feet and see how much better the rest of your body feels!

Pink Moon Release Retreat

Cold Water Experience!

We will use the power of our breath, the power of our focus, the power of heat from the sauna and cold from a cold plunge pool, and the power of the group to go dëp within ourselves and release any stagnant, stuck energy that’s ready to go from our mind-body system.

To have more energy.

To see more truth.

To experience dëper connection.

Build trust and confidence in yourself by exploring your edges and moving beyond them in a safe and supportive space.

To experience the thrill of life-force energy coursing through you unimpeded.

These intentions are at the core of everything we do at GO DËP.

To bring all these intentions together in a single, powerful experience amplified by the power and guidance of the full moon, is the intention behind it.

The seasons are changing in nature and within us.

How are we being called forward in our lives to evolve and grow with these changing conditions?

What energy has served its purpose and is ready to be released with love and appreciation?

What new energy is on the horizon, waiting to be called in?

If you are curious about the possibilities that lie within you then I invite you to join us for this unique and expansive experience.

FOUNDATIONS OF YOU: How to stand on solid ground

We all know that a home must be built on a solid foundation to avoid collapsing under stress, and this is also true of your life. A home’s foundation consists of many elements, each with its own function that when put together in a deliberate way work in unison to support the whole structure. A personal foundation works the very same way. It supports the whole of YOU. A strong personal foundation helps to withstand the everyday “wear and tear” of life. And when you want to ask more of yourself –and your life– when you are ready to grow, you must deepen your foundation.

Learn more about how to (re) build your foundation and grow in 2023 during this in-depth exploration of Personal Foundation. Join Executive Leadership Coach Marnee Bruno for the "Terraferma: How to Stand on Solid Ground" a 3-hour workshop to:

  • identify and understand the 8 elements of a strong personal foundation, why you need them and the role they play in supporting your life

  • (re) connect with your vision for an inspired life

  • leave with strategies to deepen your own foundation

FOUNDATIONS OF MOVEMENT: Sit to Stand Workshop

Pilates Foundations and sit to stand workshop

For most of us, moving from a seated to a standing position doesn't strike us as anything other than a functional day-to-day movement. But then again, for many, that movement can lead to low back pain or discomfort if not demonstrated correctly. I want to bring you tools to develop a better understanding of hip function and increased awareness related to this movement we repeat numerous times daily.

In this one-hour workshop, you will work on how to activate glutes and core correctly, dynamically, and with precision. We'll also focus on postural alignment and proprioception - awareness of one's body in space.

Learn how to apply these foundational approaches for less pain, injury reduction, and greater ease in your day-to-day movement.

Cost: $25+hst
