What is therapeutic movement?

Therapeutic Movement is breath-centred movement sessions that blend body awareness, natural mobility, and strength training to help you feel safer and stronger in your body.

Through Body Awake movement sessions, you
will learn how to:

  • Improve your body awareness.

  • Activate muscles, articulate joints and increase ranges of motion.

  • Strengthen muscles and bones.

  • Integrate your body awareness into complex movement.

About Your Therapeutic Movement Teacher

Anuta Bondarenko has been a body awareness and movement teacher since 2012. She helps people get in touch with their bodies, feel better and engage more fully in their life.

Anuta offers you skills and tools to sustain a unique movement “diet” that fits your life circumstances.

  • She finds the techniques that work for you and your specific learning style.

  • She works with you, valuing your input and helping you create your body awake strategy together.

  • She will help you figure out sustainable and joyful ways to move and get stronger, no matter what your preferred movement practice is.

Anuta's approach to teaching movement is informed by the principles of somatic movement (movement awareness), Functional Range Conditioning (isolating movement into a particular joint) and natural human movement (honouring the evolutionary biomechanics of the human body).
